Blog Post: My Millennial Thoughts

It's a great time to be a millennial right now, especially during a period of economic boom and growth in technology. Social media has paved our way to help us brand ourselves with what our passion is, whether it's in fashion, fitness, entrepreneurship, or whatever it is that we're good at.

With the help of our parents, millennials like myself have been given the opportunity to pursue what it is that we really love. However, some of us struggle with finding what that passion is. For me, I got involved with fashion early on in my career as an outlet of the corporate lifestyle. Although I enjoyed what I did at work, I got more and more active as a social media and fashion influencer. It soon brought on business opportunities and I found myself in a position where I had to really think about where I see my future going.

I've been fortunate enough to surround myself around mentors at work who have been through a lot in their career and who offer quality advice. I appreciate every word I've heard, but I still find the struggle to remain patient. While millennials want success to happen as soon as possible, we all know that it takes time to build a foundation and growth.

My advice is that you need to continue pursuing your passion but know that success will not happen right away.

While we search for what it is that we love, just keep on working towards that and keep your head in the game. As a millennial, I truly believe we all have potential as long as we put our hearts into our craft.
