Ollie Quinn

I've been wearing contact lenses for years (since I was an early teen). I would wear my glasses only at night before going to sleep or in the early morning before getting ready. There was something about the glasses look that never appealed to me until recently.

In the past couple years as my fashion appeal has grown, I've developed an interest for many different accessories and as a result, my style has become more diverse than ever. More specifically in the past few months, I've had more of an interest to wear eyeglasses a full day rather than just an hour.

I found an opportunity to collaborate with Ollie Quinn, a prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses company that recently launched its first United States location in Seattle! During the summer, I attended the company's grand opening celebration in Capitol Hill and had a chance to mingle with other local fashion influencers and take a look at the OQ products. I instantly fell in love with the style!

I organized a photoshoot in downtown Bellevue, WA and styled the eyeglasses I chose with 3 different looks.

Look #1: Suited Incorporating eyeglasses with the professional look will turn heads and come off as sharp and well put-together. It's an accessory that can add class to your outfit at work, depending on the glasses frame and the way it shapes your facial structures.

Look #2: Casual There's something to it that makes a casual style come across as sophisticated with glasses. I wore a plain t-shirt with the glasses, allowing more features to my face to take away from the basic look.

Look #3: Street This is one of my favorites. I'm a huge fan of accessories in general, so I love the idea of drawing attention to one specific area like your wrists, head, ankles, and feet. Again, it depends on how a pair of glasses can fit your facial structure. Incorporating a hat and glasses together goes above and beyond, in my opinion.

Hope you enjoyed reading about my perspective! If you're in the Seattle area, be sure to check out the Ollie Quinn shop in Capitol Hill. The company is based in UK & Canada, so there are plenty of locations in those countries as well.
